What is the Subaru Love Promise?

Subaru and our retailers believe in making the world a better place and the Subaru Love Promise is our vision of respecting all people. This is our commitment to show love and respect to our customers and to work to make a positive impact in the world.

The Subaru Love Promise Community Commitment

We believe in being a positive force in something bigger. And it all starts right here in our community. Not just by our donations, but by our actions.

That's why we stay true to our Love Promise Community Commitment by partnering with a wide variety of community nonprofits and charities.

Every year, we join hands with our owners in the "Share the Love" event, giving back to our community-a community that's given so much to us.

So, every day, we strive to ensure our love is felt not just by our customers, but by all in our community. We do this because we feel it is the right thing to do.

We are proud to participate in the Love Promise Community Commitment. We're grateful, not only to be a part of our community, but to serve and support the causes and passions that are closest to our hearts, right here in our neighborhood.

All of the organizations we support have one thing in common: the unwavering dedication to improve the world and the lives of its people.

THANK YOU!!! My students were especially excited about planting the native plants as we hatched caterpillars this year and learned what they needed to survive

Auburn Subaru Service Department  –  Shay F

I love these guys! They have always gone above and beyond to help me out. I had a 2002 WRX with a strong fuel smell in the cabin during cold weather. Turns out there was a recall issued but it did not apply to the state of Washington. After calling two other dealers in the area and being declined, Auburn Subaru was happy to help. They kept my car (and gave me a service loaner), confirmed the smell, and fixed the issue anyway. I was happy to buy my new 2016 Crosstrek from them. I got my first service free, even though it was technically my second service. They did it without an appointment on a busy Saturday morning. They also welcomed me back to use their car was for free when ever in the neighborhood! Overall, I have had 5 Subaru's and wouldn't want to drive anything else!

At Mike Scarff Subaru, we were startled to learn of the sharp decline of the Monarch butterfly in the United States. For our April Subaru Loves the Earth initiative, we're taking part in the Butterfly Heroes program with the National Wildlife Federation. We invite you to come by our store to see our own butterfly habitat. You can learn not only about the population drop for the monarch and what you can do to help, but we'll send you home with a milkweed seed starter kit. You and your family can enjoy seeing the fruits of your labor as beautiful monarchs and other pollinators begin to use your habitat.

Tour De Cure 2014  –  Marc B

Tour De Cure 2014

To say that Gabriel Scott likes to cycle would be a gross understatement. Since taking up the sport two years ago, cycling has become a way of life to Gabe, to the point where he describes his hobby as an addiction. Now, he wants to use his hobby to help others, and one of those ways was by cycling with Team Subaru in the Tour De Cure 100-mile ride this past July 26th in Hillsboro, Oregon. We're proud to call Gabe part of the Mike Scarff Subaru team, and were more than happy to help support his efforts all the way! Of the $2500.00 goal that Gabe set for him to fundraise for the American Diabetes association close to $700.00 dollars were collected donations from Mike Scarff Subaru. Which just goes to show the level of commitment they have in giving back to the community for charitable events such as the ADA Tour de Cure. Until now, Gabe has only ridden for the love of the sport of cycling, and for the great exercise it provides. This was just the first charity ride Gabe had participated in, and of the numerous distances he could have chosen, Gabe picked the most challenging 100 mile century ride. We offered Gabe our full support, and urged everyone to pitch in to help him meet his goal of $2,500. With the support of his retailer and colleges, Gabe was successful in completing his 100 mile ride and everyone here at Mike Scarff Subaru is looking forward to making an even larger impact for this charitable cause in 2015.
